DESCRIPTION:Come out for the 32nd annual Viking Classic Marching Band Competition this Saturday\, October 25th! Prepare for a day of outstanding musical performances! There will be numerous bands in competition from across the state and region\, ranging in classifications from Class 1A to Class 4A. Come prepared to have a fun-filled day and be entertained by great music and shows. Several of our local schools will be performing in the competition including Pinecrest High School Band Booster Club and North Moore Mustangs! \nThe opening ceremonies will begin at 12:45pm and the first band will perform at 1:00pm. The awards ceremony is expected to begin at 7:00pm. The Union Pines Marching Vikings will perform in exhibition preceding the awards ceremony. Trophies for the awards ceremony will be presented by the Union Pines Marching Viking Seniors. \nThe gates open at 10:00am. Admission to the event is $10.00 (free for children five and under).
