You’ll have the opportunity to experience each step necessary to create stunning stained glass and leave with a finished piece ready to display!\n\nWe’ve kept the class size small and the project simple so this class is perfect for anyone at any level.\n\nYou will learn how to:\n\n 	Cut your glass using a pattern\,\n 	Grind the pieces for a precise fit\,\n 	Apply foil to each piece\,\n 	Solder your pieces together.\n\nEverything is included\, except lunch! Class will break for lunch from 1:00-2:00 then return to finish. You are welcome to use our refrigerator and microwave or you’ll have enough time to pick up lunch from a local eatery.\n\nNo prior experience needed but is helpful! Sandhills Scarecrow Stroll | Organized by Sandhills Horticultural Gardens\, October 2nd-November 1st \n\n\n\nSandhills Horticultural Garden is excited to be doing this very popular event again this year\, with more scarecrows to see and a special Scarecrow Fest on October 24th. \n\n\n\nIn continued celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States\, this year’s scarecrows will be patriotically themed as characters from the American Revolutionary Era. We’ve invited local clubs and businesses\, who have come up with some very creative ideas\, and we can’t wait to see them come to fruition! \n\n\n\nJust like last year\, the community will get to vote on the different categories and this year we’ve added a special “Kid’s Choice” category just for the little ones. So\, make sure to come on out and vote for your favorites. We look forward to seeing you strolling in the gardens! \n\n\n\nThis event is FREE for everyone.
