This month’s tour is “This Ain’t Your First Rhodi-Oh!” on Thursday\, April 9th\, from 10AM-11AM. \nWhether it’s your first view of rhododendrons or you are an experienced enthusiast\, enjoy the profusion found in the long established Hackley Garden displayed within Sandhills Horticultural Gardens. \nThis landscape stalwart along with its more dainty cousin\, the azalea\, will be viewed in a lush\, native-like setting. The docent-led walk will include a look at additional hidden gems among the rhododendron genus thriving in other garden spaces. \nJoin for this nature walk focusing on the oh so great rhododendron. The auction benefits the Carolina Horse Park Foundation. The Auction is one of the top fundraisers for the Carolina Horse Park\, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Funds raised through the Painted Ponies Auction help maintain the Park at the top level; keep the riders and horses safe; and provide open space for equestrian and recreational activities.
