Circuit Wednesdays 1pm: Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery class that utilizes exercise stations to promote large amplitude\, high effort and attention to action using an array of exercise equipment. These exercises increase motor control and repetitive effort within time restraints at each exercise station. \nPWR! Group Fridays 1pm: Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery class that focus on movements that promote large amplitude\, high effort and attention to action from multiple positions (prone\, supine\, all 4’s and standing).\nThese exercises help to increase motor control with sustained and repetitive effort while also promoting better balance. \nOnce the above items are complete\, class assignment will be based on assessments and screenings. \nClass is limited to 10\, so please complete the above items in advance to ensure your spot in the classes. DESCRIPTION:Join Stacey Whitlow on Wednesday\, Oct. 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 to discover a cozy new hobby you can enjoy anywhere\, anytime: needle felting! \n\n\n\nThe nights are getting cooler and longer—which makes it the perfect time learn a new hobby or to take your skills to the next level as this workshop is designed to be as beginner-friendly or as creative and advanced as you’d like. \n\n\n\nYou’ll receive a take-home class kit packed with everything you need to keep felting long after class\, including: \n\n\n\n\nA variety of Halloween-colored wool felts\n\n\n\nFelting needles\n\n\n\nA felting surface\n\n\n\nAn easy-to-follow guide with instructions for creating a variety of fun 3D felted projects\n\n\n\n\nProjects may include adorable pumpkins\, ghosts\, sprites\, candy corn\, and more! Your finished creations can be used as ornaments\, vase fillers\, table decorations\, seasonal décor\, or thoughtful handmade gifts. \n\n\n\nWe’ll begin by learning about the materials\, how to use the tools safely\, and the basics of needle felting.
