DESCRIPTION:Kids love to make art\, and our campers are sure to love every minute of our week-long Mixed Media Art Camps at ARTworks Vass! \nParents love how much we love their children\, the manner in which we accommodate special requests\, and that so many of the projects that we’ll make are of such a quality that they will be treasured for years or even a lifetime. \nMixed Media Creative Kids Art Camp\, from June 15th through June 19th\, will focus on Fused Glass\, Hand Built Pottery\, Fiber Art\, Two Dimensional Art and Ceramics. \nWhile you’ll notice that our Mixed Media Art Camps are offered several times this summer\, each will provide a unique experience with a variety of projects in each of these mediums. We always have a few surprises up our sleeves to keep things interesting too! \nYour Children will have more fun than you can possibly imagine as they build confidence\, develop skills\, and enjoy the camraderie of their new friends in our creative classes. \nWe enter each camp week with a well-planned curriculum that includes a ton of variety for your Children. We also allow room for flexibility to adjust our camp schedule and our camp projects based on the needs and preferences of the registered guests in attendance. \nSchedule for Full Day Campers \n\nCamp will be held Monday through Friday.\nDrop Off will be from 8:45 until 9:00.\nMorning Sessions will be from 9:00 until 12:00.\nLunch will be from 12:00 until 1:00.\nAfternoon sessions will be from 1:00 until 4:00.\nPickup will be at 4:00.\n\nSchedule for Morning Only Campers \n\nCamp will be held Monday through Friday.\nDrop-off will be from 8:45 until 9:00.\nMorning Sessions will be from 9:00 until 12:00.\nPickup will be at 12:00.\n\nSchedule for Afternoon Only Campers \n\nCamp will be held Monday through Friday.\nDrop Off will be from 12:45 until 1:00.\nAfternoon sessions will be from 1:00 until 4:00.\nPickup will be at 4:00.\n\nIf you need to arrange early drop off or pick up for your Campers\, please text the specific details of your request to ARTworks Vass Owner\, Jean Skipper\, at 910-528-1109 before registering. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind\, and the experience will be just as unforgettable. More than a keepsake—you’ll be making memories to treasure for a lifetime.\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nWayne will guide you step-by-step through the glass blowing process and together you will create your one of a kind glass piece. Glassblowing is a choreographed collaboration. This will be an enjoyable beginner friendly experience and by the end of your session\, you’ll be amazed by what you’ve created!\n\nYour glass project will need to cool slowly (anneal). Pick it up a few days after class or arrange shipping for an additional fee.\n\nImportant Information:\n\n 	No experience needed—beginners welcome!\n 	Please note: ARTworks Vass is home to friendly gallery/studio cats who may be present during classes and events. 🐾\n 	Ages 14+ are invited to participate.
