DESCRIPTION:Refugio Farm Equestrian Center is offering an incredible summer experience for riders of all skill levels\, from beginners to advanced. The camp features weekly sessions from June 22-25\, July 13-16\, and August 3-6\, with an optional overnight weekend camp following each block. Young equestrians will immerse themselves in all aspects of horse care and riding through a variety of engaging activities\, including learning to groom\, lead\, and tack\, practicing walks\, trots\, canters\, and jumps (if ready)\, alongside themed arts\, crafts\, and games.\nThe program is tailored into two groups: a Pee Wee camp for ages 4-6 running from 11:00AM-2:00PM (with the option to stay for the full day) and a basic camp for ages 7-16 running from 10:00AM-3:00PM. Please note that a meet and greet is required for all campers aged 7 and under to assess their attention span and safety around large animals.\nTo reserve your child’s spot\, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required; the pricing is set at $400 if you bring your own pony\, or $485 if utilizing one of the center’s equine friends and their equipment\, plus a one-time annual registration fee.
