DESCRIPTION:Running for a cause; join in giving back! “Become a Part of the Tradition and the oldest Turkey Trot in NC!” The 44th annual FirstHealth Pinehurst Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run and The Little Gobbler-1 Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday\, November 22nd! The FirstHealth Pinehurst Turkey Trot begins at The Village Arboretum\, presented by the Village of Pinehurst and Set Up Events. Runners will trek through the streets and residential neighborhoods of the Village. Runners are encouraged to come festively dressed to make the run extra fun! All finishers receive a hot chocolate and a metal. \nFor each race entry\, a donation of $1 will be made to Women of the Pines\, a fantastic local organization that supports the sick\, hungry\, homeless\, and abused. In addition\, everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the race to support the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
