DESCRIPTION:Join us for the ultimate Scotland County homecoming at the annual John Blue Festival\, held Saturday\, October 10th from 9AM-5PM. For just $5 admission (and free for ages 5 and under)\, your family can step back in time and explore our rich local heritage. The grounds will be buzzing with live music\, dancing\, local craft vendors\, and a variety of delicious food trucks. There is plenty of fun for the little ones with free kid games\, tractor games\, and educational booths\, making it the perfect setting to grab a bite\, enjoy the craftsmanship\, and create memories that will last a lifetime. \n\n\n\nFeeling competitive? Don’t miss the famous Chili Cook-Off! With a $10 entry fee\, you can put your recipe to the test for a chance to take home 1st\, 2nd\, or 3rd place cash prizes. If you’re an artist\, be sure to turn in your submissions on the Wednesday before the festival; judging takes place ahead of time so winners can be celebrated all weekend long while their work remains on display.
