Foods\, Pinehurst Resort\, Visit Pinehurst\, Southern Pines\, Aberdeen\, Lin Hutaff’s Pinehurst Realty Group and Our State magazine\, the three-day festival\, staged in the Village of Pinehurst\, offers a unique culinary experience of mouthwatering barbecue meats and traditional Southern sides. \n\n\n\nPinehurst Barbecue Festival Events \n\n\n\nFriday\, September 4\, 2026:High On The Hog GourmetPitmaster DinnerPinehurst Fair Barn6:00pm-8:30pm \n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 5\, 2026: ”Q”-School Grilling Class at Moore County Airport\, from 11:00AM-1:00PM: Pinehurst has played host to many a “Q School” in its day\, but none quite like this. From 11:00am-1:00pm\, “Q” School Grilling Class at the Moore County Airport will offer ticket holders the opportunity to experience cooking and grilling demonstrations with a range of meats on a variety of grills\, led by Pitmaster Ron Simmons of Master Blend Family Farms in Kenansville. Sampling\, under covered seating\, will be provided following the class.
