SUMMARY:VIP Paddle Day for the Visually Impaired
DESCRIPTION:The 4th annual VIP Paddle Day will be held on Friday\, June 7th | 10am-2pm at the Mill Pond in Robbins. This special event invites visually impaired individuals to enjoy a day on the water with canoes\, kayaks\, stand-up paddleboards\, life jackets and instruction—all provided free of charge. A pizza lunch and drinks will also be served. \nThe event gives participants a chance to experience something they might not otherwise get to enjoy. Each visually impaired guest is paired with a partner who describes the surroundings as they explore the water\, creating a memorable sensory experience through nature. Volunteers are welcome to come out and help.
