Create a beautiful nature-inspired sun catcher that blends colorful fused glass with the rustic charm of long leaf pine needles in this unique two-session workshop!

In the first session, Kathy Downs will lead you in designing and assembling your fused glass centerpiece that will be kiln-fired after class and will be ready for assembly during the second class.

Return for the second session with Karen Habicht to learn the art of long leaf pine needle weaving as you wrap and stitch around your fused glass centerpiece using decorative threading techniques. The result is a stunning handmade sun catcher that combines natural materials with colorful glass artistry.

When:

• 1st Session is Sunday, June 7th from 1:00 to 4:00
• 2nd Session is Sunday, June 14th from 1:00 to 4:00

No experience needed—beginners are welcome!

Finished project size will vary slightly but will be approximately 6–8 inches in diameter.

This class is perfect for beginners, but those with experience are welcome to join and expand their skills. All tools and materials are provided for use during the session, though feel free to bring any favorite tools of your own.
