In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, Pinecrest High School presents “An Evening with Frederick Douglass.” Experience the great writer, orator, and abolitionist as portrayed by Nathan M. Richardson.

Step back in time and hear the voice, words, and legacy of Frederick Douglass brought to life in this moving live performance. Taking place on Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30pm in the Pinecrest High School R.E. Lee Auditorium, come together to reflect, learn, and be inspired by one of history’s greatest writers, orators, and champions for freedom.

It is free to attend. Seating is first-come, first-served. Bring your family, friends, students, and community members for an evening of storytelling, history, and powerful dialogue that still speaks to our world today!
