Dementia-Friendly Cinema at Sunrise Theater: “Some Like It Hot”

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation presents a series of Dementia-Friendly Cinema events at the Sunrise Theater, designed specifically for guests with memory loss and their caregivers. These screenings feature softer lighting, lower sound, and a relaxed atmosphere to ensure a comfortable experience for all attendees.
The Dementia-Friendly Cinema series features the following screenings:
“Some Like It Hot”- Friday, March 27th at 1:00PM. “With no money and nowhere to hide, two down on their luck jazz musicians (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) masquerade as members of an all-girl band, leading to a number of romantic complications when one falls for the band’s lead singer played by Marilyn Monroe in one of her most iconic performances.” To reserve your free ticket, CLICK HERE.
“Mary Poppins”-Friday, April 24th at 1:00PM
“The Odd Couple”-Friday, May 22nd at 1:00PM
Guests can enjoy free entry, free popcorn, and free valet parking at the theater where trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist.
