Be a part of The Great Southeast Pollinator Census! For the third year in a row, the Sandhills Horticultural Society will be participating in this “Citizen Science Project” created by the University of Georgia, joining others in North Carolina, as well as the southeastern states of South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Come learn about the different types of pollinators, what they look like, how they contribute to food production and help make a difference in pollinator conservation. Help protect the Southeast’s pollinators one count at a time. Prepare for the count days on August 22nd & 23rd, 9am-11am both days.
