Join as Changing Destinies Ministry and The Village Chapel are hosting two Human Trafficking Awareness events at The Village Chapel Hall.

The first event, a Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar for Families and Youth, takes place on Friday, January 16th, from 6:00pm-8:30pm. The evening will include presentations from special agents, Invictus Project and Task Force representatives, a Moore County update, stories of hope and healing, and an art for awareness exhibit.

The second event, a Human Trafficking Professional Education Seminar, will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This session is designed for local educators, healthcare providers, church and community youth leaders, law enforcement, and other youth-serving professionals, and will cover human trafficking trends in Moore County with speakers Samantha Schlumpf, Pam Strickland of NC Stop Human Trafficking, and Jessica Grider, LCSW, Program Director at Rachel’s Refuge.
