Join for the Peach Week 5k Fun Run to benefit First Health Cancer Care Fund. In collaboration with Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB, Double Eagle Golf Carts and FirstHealth Fitness, this community-centric event not only promotes wellness but also fosters camaraderie and support for a noble cause. 100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to helping our community members navigate cancer needs. The run takes place on Thursday, July 24th at 6:30pm. Be sure to dress in peachy attire in honor of your loved one.

Ruth Lyman Watkins vision began with the Cancer CARE Fund. Established in 2000, the Cancer CARE Fund was the first of The Foundation of First Health’s Community CARE (Clinical, Advocacy, Resources and Education) Funds. Each of these Funds provides support, hope, and safe passage for patients and their families. The Cancer CARE Fund supports transportation, gas assistance, wigs, medicine, support groups, nutritional supplementation, dental care and so much else for people in our region who are facing this horrible disease. Come run/walk with Clara’s House staff members to support this amazing cause!

You will receive ice cream from Stellar Scoops, healthy snacks, a complimentary water bottle, fun stickers and exciting giveaways. The cost to participate in this race is $25 for adults and $5 for children 13 and under with all proceeds going to the First Health Cancer Care Fund.
