The traveling Grief Table will host a “Say Their Name, Tell Their Story” Program on Thursday, March 19th from 2pm-4pm at the historic Aberdeen Postmaster’s House. Led by Wendy Lemons Morris of Oak Island and local Gold Star Mother Terry Cameron Marquez, this open house event invites the community to drop in and share memories of loved ones through pictures, mementos, or personal stories.

It is designed as a welcoming space for anyone navigating grief to find connection and remembrance in a supportive environment. By focusing on the act of vocalizing names and sharing histories, the gathering honors those who have passed while fostering collective healing within the local community.
