Do you have the voice to win? The Axe to Grind in Hamlet is searching for the best local talent with its upcoming singing contest, which explicitly features live voices only and is not a karaoke competition. Interested participants can sign up beginning the second week of March for a chance to compete in rounds one and two starting in May, leading up to the final round in June.

There is a $5 entry fee for the contest, with all proceeds being donated to a local veterans charity. Vocalists will be competing for cash prizes, including $200 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. Call 557-1626 for more information.
