FIRST FRIDAY RETURNS for the twentieth year! Sunrise Theater presents the 2026 First Friday Concert Series! First Fridays are the main fundraiser for the Sunrise Theater. The free concerts take place on the Sunrise Theater outdoor First Bank Stage and greenspace. This is a free, family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome.

First Friday hours are run 5PM-9PM! Bring a chair or blanket for your own comfort. A food truck will be on site and Southern Pines Brewery beers & hard seltzers are available for purchase. It is a rain or shine event. Concerts take place the first Friday of each month from May-November. July is skipped, and November is added.

May 1st: Clay Street Unit-Get ready for an evening of live bluegrass, folk, and Americana. Touring behind their debut album Sin & Squalor, this six-piece brings foot-stomping anthems and soul-hitting ballads.
