As part of the Community Connects Series, the Southern Pines Land and Housing Trust presents The Selah Circle: Whispers Become Roars, an intimate gathering for women inspired by the memoir I’m Whispering as Loud as I Can. This event, scheduled for Monday, March 16th, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the West Southern Pines Center, offers a safe space for participants to reflect, release, and reconnect with their voices through guided reflection and respectful listening.

Unlike therapy, a lecture, or a religious service, this circle provides a calm, judgment-free environment led by speaker and author LeAudrey Arnold, who uses her lived experience with trauma and recovery to empower others. Co-hosted by the Moore County Children’s Advocacy Center of Southmountain Children and Family Services, the evening invites women to transform their whispers into roars.
