Join the Town of Carthage for the 37th Annual Buggy Festival! The festival takes place in Downtown Carthage on Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 9th, from 9AM-4PM! Enjoy a great day with family and friends and find the perfect gift for Mom to celebrate Mother’s Day!
Join over 150+ craft and food vendors, FREE Kid’s Zone, Live Music with the Chocolate Chip & Company Band out of Myrtle Beach and Jill Charles & Nobody’s Business out of Fayetteville!
For the first time, there will be BINGO games scheduled every 15 minutes beginning at 11am with the last game at 3pm. Cash prizes from $50 to $300!
“Started in 1989, the Carthage Buggy Festival is a celebration of the rich history of Carthage, North Carolina. The Buggy Festival is held each year to commemorate the famous Tyson and Jones Buggy Factory that, from the mid-1800’s to the 1920’s, produced the carriages that were essential to life in rural North Carolina.”
Enjoy a family-friendly time with fun to be had by all ages. This free event boasts live music, a free Kid’s Zone, vendors, games, food trucks, a classic car show, animal adoptions, antiques appraisals and so much more! Don’t miss out on all the fun and be sure to find a gift for Mom too! Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend, but they must remain on a leash.
