The community is invited to come together during the Fill the Pantry Food & Essentials Drive on Friday, June 5th, from 7:00AM- 5:00PM at The Honey Baked Ham Co. on U.S. 15-501 in Southern Pines. Organized by Star 102.5 FM and 550 AM WIOZ, who will be broadcasting live on location all day, this major one-day event is designed to support the essential work of the Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care.

Organizers are asking community members to drive by and drop off critical donations, specifically non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and diapers, which will directly stock local food boxes, the community food pantry, and weekend food bags for families facing hardships across Moore County. This collaborative outreach effort is made possible through the generous sponsorship and support of local businesses, including John Cole’s Plumbing Professionals and Carolina Air & Power. For community members who want to contribute but are unable to drop off items at the event on June 5th, early donations can be delivered directly to the Muirfield Broadcasting studios.
