Buckles & Boots Line Dancers is an all-levels line dance group serving Moore County and communities throughout the Sandhills of North Carolina. Bringing people together through dancing, music, movement and fun, Buckles & Boots creates a welcoming place for everyone to get out on the dance floor.
Whether you are brand new to line dancing or already know your favorite steps, all experience levels are welcome.
From weekly classes and public line dance nights to private lessons, parties, special events and performances, Buckles & Boots is helping keep The Pines moving.
No experience? No problem! Grab your boots, bring your friends and come ready to learn, laugh and dance.
About Buckles & Boots
Buckles & Boots Line Dancers was founded by Belinda Musick, who, along with business partner Jan McClay, has helped grow a fun and welcoming line dance community throughout Moore County and beyond.
Belinda and Jan are full-time line dance instructors who share a passion for teaching, encouraging new dancers and making everyone feel comfortable on the dance floor. They continue developing their own skills by attending classes and workshops with instructors throughout North Carolina and across the country.
For those who really want to learn line dancing, Belinda and Jan encourage taking a class. A classroom setting gives dancers an opportunity to learn the steps, cues and terminology, line dance etiquette and proper techniques while getting to know other dancers in the community.
Classes are currently offered at Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst and Wellness on Seaboard in Vass.
Buckles & Boots offers:
Private lessons can be customized for individuals or groups, making Buckles & Boots a fun option for birthdays, celebrations, wedding parties, corporate gatherings and other special occasions.
Giving back is an important part of Buckles & Boots. The group volunteers performances at local healthcare facilities and supports organizations and community groups throughout the region.
Buckles & Boots has also worked with organizations and events including NC Eats & Play, Aging in Place-Raleigh and the All Nashville Road Show.
Through their Dancing Through The Pines community initiative, Buckles & Boots partners with venues throughout the Sandhills to bring line dancing into communities across the area.
Each year, Buckles & Boots organizes and hosts the Rustic Rails Line Dance Experience in Moore County.
The annual event brings together line dancers and instructors for a high-energy dance experience featuring world-renowned line dance instructor and choreographer Rob Holley as a headliner, along with other talented line dance instructors.
