Young athletes ages 8-15 are invited to take part in the Pinecrest All-Star Softball Camp, happening June 24th–26th at the Pinecrest High School Softball Field. Led by Randy Calcutt, Head Softball Coach at Pinecrest and reigning Sandhills Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, the camp is co-sponsored by the Parks and Recreation departments of Southern Pines, Aberdeen and Pinehurst. Designed to strengthen fundamentals and sharpen techniques, the camp offers a fun, educational and supportive experience. Sessions run daily from 8:30am-12:30pm, and registration is $85. Registration can be completed on any of the towns’ Parks & Recreation Departments’ websites.
