Home at Last Farms & the Carthage Masonic Lodge #181 are hosting their 7th Annal “Service Before Self’ Event, an event to honor Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Technicians for their selfless service to our communities on 27 September 2025 at Home at Last Farms in Cameron, 2pm-10pm.

They will be conducting the 2nd Annual Carthage Lodge #181 BBQ Cookoff on 26 September 2025, with visa gift card awards for 1st Place – $500, 2nd Place – $300 and 3rd $200. There will also have a people choice award. Entry Fee is $150.00 per team. Plates are $15.00 per ticket.

They are asking for donations and sponsorships to support this great cause.  Funds that are raised go to pay for the food, entertainment and other related expenses. After expenses are paid, all remaining funds will be dispersed to the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford and the Adult & Teen Challenge of Sandhills organization.  Two great charity organizations that do great things for children.
