Donations Needed for the MCHS Treasure Sale 2026 (Accepted through September 1st)

The Moore County Historical Association is seeking donations for the upcoming Treasures Sale, providing a perfect opportunity to clean out your house, garage, and closets for a great cause! Organizers are collecting items of value—including pottery, jewelry, silver, art, dolls, antiques, collectible toys, prints, books, china, memorabilia, linens, and vintage clothing—with 100% of the proceeds going directly to preserving local history.
Gently used items can be dropped off at the Shaw House, located at 110 West Morganton Road in Southern Pines, Monday through Friday from 1:00PM-4:00PM until the final deadline on September 1st, 2026, or community members can call 910-692-2051 to arrange a convenient pick-up.
All of these collected treasures will be featured in the annual tag sale scheduled for Friday, September 11th, from 9:00AM-1:00PM, and Saturday, September 12th, from 9:00AM-4:00PM, with donation tax receipts available upon request.
