ExCEL NC Moore County Child Care Economic Summit

ExCEL NC, the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, Partners for Children & Families, and the Moore County Economic Development Partnership are partnering to host the ExCEL NC Moore County Child Care Economic Summit.
Taking place on August 7th, from 9:00AM-10:30AM at The Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst, this event will convene business and industry leaders in the South Room to explore the economic impact of the childcare crisis. Doors open at 8:30AM, and breakfast will be provided for all attendees.
The summit centers on a critical issue: addressing childcare challenges for working parents could boost North Carolina’s GDP by up to $7.5 billion annually. Participants will explore practical paths to transform this projection into reality by hearing from a panel of business executives, gaining data insights from research and policy experts, and engaging in collaborative dialogue. ExCEL NC, a project of NC Child, is a coalition of business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporate leaders advocating for sustainable childcare solutions that stabilize the workforce and strengthen the state’s economy.
