The community is invited to come together and remember the defenders of our freedom who gave the ultimate sacrifice at the Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 25th, at 11:30AM at the Johnsonville Veterans Memorial. This community event honors military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice, followed by a traditional gathering with hot dogs and fellowship at the Johnsonville Community Center Pavilion. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside the Community Center at 20130 Highway 24/27. Attendees are also encouraged to bring old flags to be retired on Flag Day as part of the day’s remembrance and service.
