Lee County Arts Council loves to celebrate arts in the community. Every two months they celebrate one of their Member Artists. July and August has Carol Nash in residence. Kick off your holiday weekend with the Lee County Arts Council, celebrating nearly 50 years of bringing arts to the community with a new Member Artist Reception on Friday, July 3rd from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the MANN Center for the Arts in Sanford.

This event opens the exhibition of featured artist Carol Nash, a talented visual artist specializing in oil landscapes, whose beautiful work will remain on display through August 24th. Carol is a long time resident of Carthage and has been a certified Bob Ross Instructor since 1999. She works mostly in oils but also uses acrylic and watercolor. She teaches and takes commissions.

Held in conjunction with the MANN Center’s Emerging Artist Gallery and the Sanford Brush & Palette Club’s Brick City Gallery, this First Friday gathering invites you to enjoy a bite and a pour while mingling with local creators and exploring a wide range of inspiring community art!
