From Thursday, July 2nd-Sunday, July 5th, take advantage of these free ways to take a break from the heat:

Free entry at Joe R. Wynn Pool
• Thursday + Friday: 12:30–6:30PM
• Saturday: 12:30–5PM

Splash Pad Open daily, 12–6 PM

Southern Pines Public Library Cool AC, free water, and indoor activities
• Open Thursday until 7PM
• Closed Friday + Saturday for the holiday
• Open Sunday, 2–5PM

Cooling Stations
• Southern Pines Police Station, 450 W. Pennsylvania Ave. — open 1–6PM daily
• E.S. Douglass Community Center, 1185 W. Pennsylvania Ave. — senior programming and cooling station available Thursday until 5PM

Reservoir Park Open daily from sunrise to sunset. Bring your own kayak or paddleboard, or rent one at the self-serve kiosk: sopinesnc.info/wakerack
