The UNCP Musical Theatre Program presents “Urinetown The Musical” at the Givens Performing Arts Center with free admission for all attendees. This satirical production is set in a dystopian future where a severe water shortage allows a mega-corporation to monopolize public toilets and charge high fees until a rebellion led by Bobby Strong sparks a revolutionary showdown against corporate greed. The show features music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann, book and lyrics by Greg Kotis, and orchestration adapted and arranged by Ian Weingerger.
