The Unity Day: Stop the Violence Block Party is calling on Robeson County to come together for a powerful movement to stand against local violence and uplift the neighborhood. Hosted by Scottie Deese and Mitchell Locklear (DJ Noise), this completely free event welcomes all ages to gather on Saturday, May 23rd from 12:00PM-6:00PM at Luther Britt Park in Lumberton. Intended to protect the youth and build a stronger foundation for the next generation, the block party features community resources, great food, games, and live music. Families and friends are encouraged to bring good energy and show what true unity looks like by standing together to support positive change.
