Lumbee Homecoming 2026

The 57th Annual Lumbee Homecoming is officially underway, bringing a spectacular nine-day celebration of heritage, culture, and community to the region from Friday, June 26th-Saturday, July 4th!
The festivities feature a vibrant mix of daily week-long events, including the Lumbee Homecoming Outdoor Market at the LRDA Office Complex, the 2nd Annual Chicken Cook-Off Contest, and exhibits at the Museum of the Southeast American Indian. The celebration includes major pageants at the Givens Performing Arts Center, competitive events like the Lumbee Games, cultural lectures, and dynamic musical performances such as the Summer Jam Concert on July 3rd.
It all builds to an unforgettable Independence Day grand finale on July 4th packed with a 5K run, a massive free carnival, a vintage car show, a traditional Powwow, an outdoor gospel sing, and the highly anticipated season premiere of the historical drama Strike at the Wind!
