Hot Car Safety Display with Carthage Fire Rescue

Hot Car Safety Awareness at Food Lion in Carthage Stop by and visit Carthage Fire Rescue today at Food Lion for our Hot Car Safety Display! Did you know the temperature inside a parked vehicle can rise to deadly levels in just minutes—even with the windows cracked? Every year, children and pets suffer preventable heat-related injuries and deaths because they were left in hot vehicles. The display demonstrates just how dangerous the inside of a vehicle can become. We encourage everyone to stop by, ask questions, and learn simple steps that can save a life.
Remember: 
Look before you lock. Never leave a child or pet unattended in a vehicle. If you see a child alone in a hot car, call 911 immediately. Together, we can help prevent these tragedies and keep our community safe.
