Aberdeen Summer Passport

Support local businesses and enter for a chance to win big throughout the entire month of August with the Aberdeen Summer Passport! Running Saturday, August 1st-Monday, August 31st, this community-wide shopping initiative created by Amanda Jakl, co-owner of Purple Thistle Kitchen + Co., invites residents and visitors to explore participating merchants across downtown Aberdeen.
Participants can earn entries into a grand prize drawing for a $500 Visa Gift Card, courtesy of Grand Prize Sponsor First Bank.
To participate, look for the official Aberdeen Summer Passport poster displayed in the windows of participating local locations. Earn entry chances by making qualifying purchases or donations:
- Spend $25 or more at participating retailers, restaurants, and service businesses.
- Spend $10 or more at participating coffee shops and ice cream shops.
- Make a $25 donation to the historic Aberdeen Postmaster’s House.
After making a qualifying purchase or donation, simply scan the business’s unique QR code to submit your entry. Every qualifying transaction offers another opportunity to discover new favorite spots and keep dollars local during the summer.
