Discover the magic of hot glass in this exciting hands-on glassblowing experience! Join Wayne on Sunday, June 14th at 10:30 and create your very own hand-blown glass pear in the color combination of your choice from a variety of beautiful options available in the hot shop. During this experience, you’ll work one-on-one with Wayne to help shape molten glass into a stunning pear keepsake. No two pears will ever be exactly alike! This class is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to try something new, creative, and unforgettable. You’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating art of glassblowing while experiencing the heat, teamwork, and excitement of working with molten glass. Class Highlights:

• No experience necessary
• A fun and memorable creative experience

Your glass project will need to cool slowly (anneal). Pick it up a few days after class or arrange shipping for an additional fee. Important Information:

• No experience needed—beginners welcome!
• Please note: ARTworks Vass is home to friendly gallery/studio cats who may be present during classes and events. 🐾
• Ages 14+ are invited to participate. Students under 14 may be accommodated by special arrangement—text Jean at 910-528-1109 to discuss.
• One guest per project is allowed.
• Class Length: Allow 60 minutes for your glass-blowing experience.
• All supplies are included.
• Registration is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
• Dress code: Wear cotton or other natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.
• At ARTworks Vass, you’re always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
• Your glass project will need to cool slowly (anneal). Pick it up a few days after class or arrange shipping for an additional fee.
• You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up.  We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven’t requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery’s discretion.

Arrival: Please check in at the ARTworks Vass Gallery at least 15 minutes before your start time. Late arrivals may have a shorter experience. Parking is available in front of our building, beside Crossroads Coffee at the Rescue Squad, or at Vass Town Hall on Alma Street.
