“1,000 Eyes Wide Open” Human Trafficking Prevention Training (Two Sessions Available)

The Moore County Human Trafficking Task Force, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, and Friend to Friend are partnering to host two important “1,000 Eyes Wide Open” Human Trafficking Prevention Training events in Carthage.
Monday, August 10th, from 6:00PM-7:30PM at The Agricultural Center, featuring two separate, simultaneous presentations—one tailored for adults/parents and an age-appropriate one for youth.
Thursday, August 13th, from 6:00PM-7:30PM in the conference room at the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, offering a comprehensive overview of human trafficking.
Both sessions are designed to educate attendees on recognizing warning signs, understanding online safety, and learning how to report suspected trafficking. All parents, caregivers, educators, and community members are encouraged to attend, and families with middle and high school-aged children are welcome to participate.
