Movie Night Fundraiser to Benefit Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Sunrise Theater: “The Notebook”

The Sunrise Theater and Penick Village are teaming up to host a special cinematic fundraiser to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. On Thursday, July 30th, the theater will feature two separate screenings of the romance classic The Notebook.
The afternoon kicks off at 2:00PM with a free dementia-friendly showing designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all attendees.
A general screening will take place at 7:00 PM for a suggested $15 donation.
Sponsored by Penick Village, this event offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a night out at the movies for a vital community cause. The theater’s concession stand will be open, and guests can also participate in a fun raffle packed with a wide variety of goodies.
Victoria Huggins with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Moore County will be on hand throughout the event to share information about the upcoming walk, accept donations, and help groups get their teams registered.
