Aberdeen Library: Great Southeast Pollinator Census Count

Help scientists study local insects during the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, sponsored by the NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers at the Aberdeen Library!
The two-part initiative kicks off on Saturday, August 8th at 10:30AM with an educational Pollinator Presentation, where attendees will learn how to identify pollinators and understand their vital role in helping plants, flowers, and crops thrive.
Then, on Saturday, August 22nd, from 10:30AM-12:00PM, participants can head into the garden for the Pollinator Census to count and observe local species in 15-minute intervals at their own pace. Presented in partnership with the Sandhill Regional Library System and Moore County Library, this drop-in community project is open to all ages.
