The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources’ America 250 Forging a Nation Exhibit is at Weymouth Center for Arts and Humanities through Tuesday, August 18th. Please come by and take a look at North Carolina’s role in America’s beginnings.
“The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources’ America 250: Forging a Nation exhibit explores North Carolina’s pivotal role in the American Revolution and the founding of the United States. Through maps, historical documents, and artifacts, the exhibit highlights the state’s journey from resistance to British rule and the fight for independence to the drafting of the Constitution, showing how the actions of ordinary citizens helped shape a new nation.”
