Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities is a historic cultural destination and event venue located on a beautiful 26-acre estate in Southern Pines. Once the home of author James Boyd and his wife, Katharine Lamont Boyd, the property now welcomes the community for concerts, literary programs, performances, lectures, festivals, garden events and other cultural experiences.

The estate features the 1922 Boyd House, home of the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame, along with formal gardens, lawns, a pond and access to the longleaf pine forest of the Boyd Tract at Weymouth Woods. Its historic house and picturesque grounds are also available for weddings, corporate retreats, meetings, workshops, celebrations and private gatherings. Weymouth Center offers indoor and outdoor rental spaces suitable for intimate occasions and larger events.
