Visit the Hastings Art Gallery for the final art opening of this semester on Tuesday, May 5th, Juried Spring 2026 Student Art Exhibit! From 11:00AM-1:00PM, explore the work of SCC students from this semester. Ranging from paintings, to sculptures, to textiles, stop by and show your support for our students! Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Vito’s Pizzeria of Pinehurst. The awards ceremony will begin at 11:30AM. Students and faculty are welcome.

The exhibit will be on display for public viewing from Friday, May 1st-May 16th.

“The Jean Hastings Art Gallery displays exhibits of art, photography, crafts and other artifacts. The Jean Hastings Art Gallery is housed in the Katharine L. Boyd Library on the campus of Sandhills Community College. Guest and student art is displayed on a monthly basis. Admission is free and the gallery is open during library hours.”
