On Saturday, October 17th, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, Spencer will host a special Halloween-season book signing at Second Chapter Book Store, located at 101 Monroe St.
Her featured book, The Silent Clearing, puts a spine-chilling twist on the local lore of the Devil’s Tramping Ground—a mysterious, barren 40-foot circle deep in the Chatham County woods where nothing grows and animals refuse to tread. According to legend, it’s the spot where the Devil walks in circles at night, pacing and plotting his evil deeds.
