Stargazing Night

Carvers Creek State Park is hosting an after-hours Stargazing Night on Saturday, September 19th, from 8:00PM-9:30PM!
Do you like the stars? Do you wish you had a clearer, closer view at the vast beauty of the sky above us? Would you like to learn about the wild parts of our universe while sipping some hot chocolate? There will be telescope viewing and expertise provided courtesy of Johnny Horne, alongside warm hot chocolate for participants. You’ll get a bonus sticker for bringing your own reusable mug! The event is free, but weather-permitting and capped at 50 participants. If you’re interested in attending, please call 910-436-4681 or email carvers.creek@ncparks.gov to sign up!
