Help Shape the Future of Transportation in Moore County!  The Sandhills Metropolitan Planning Organization has kicked off work on the 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP)—a long-range plan focused on making it safer and easier to move around our region, now and into the future. This plan will guide local, state, and federal transportation investments across Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines, Pinebluff, Taylortown, Foxfire, and unincorporated areas of Moore County—and public input is a critical part of the process.

Stop by the Assembly Hall in Pinehurst for a Public Open House to learn about the MTP process and to share any areas of concern or need regarding transportation within the region. Drop in any time between 3:00pm and 6:00pm to participate.
