9|9 Native South Art Show 2026: Opening Reception

Experience the richness and vitality of Indigenous creativity as the Museum of the Southeast American Indian hosts the annual 9|9 Native South Art Show from September 9th-March 26th! Celebrating artists across the southeastern United States, the exhibition offers an open platform showcasing diverse mediums, including pottery, paintings, beadwork, and contemporary forms.
“Celebrate the creativity and innovation of Native artists from across the South. The 9|9 (nine-nine) Native South Art Show features over 38 Native artists representing 11 tribal nations from across the Southeast United States. Through the lens of Native American art, explore culture, identity and heritage.”
The museum’s most anticipated event of the year kicks off with an Opening Reception on Wednesday, September 9th, from 6:30PM-8:30PM at the Museum of the Southeast American Indian in Pembroke. Visitors will have the opportunity to support Native creators and purchase original artwork directly on the night of the reception.
