Support Sustainable Sandhills at A Paddle and A Picnic on Saturday, May 30th! Participants will enjoy a six mile out-and-back guided paddling expedition on the beautiful Cape Fear River with an upscale catered picnic and after party.

The launch site is Cape Fear River Adventures, 100 S. Main Street, Lillington, NC 27546.

Participants must be 12 years of age or older. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants should arrive at the launch site between 11:00AM and 11:30AM. Launch is at 12PM. The paddling portion of the trip is about 3 hours long. Paddlers may bring their own kayaks or canoes. Rental kayaks are available for an additional fee.

Tickets are $40 for participants who bring their own canoes or kayaks or $90 for participants who wish to rent a kayak for the day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Sustainable Sandhills and fund water quality programs in the region.

Reservations must be made by Friday, May 22ND. Ticket sales are NON-REFUNDABLE. Unclaimed tickets will be considered donations to Sustainable Sandhills. All ticket sales are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
