Artist Talks

Join for Artist Talks at School House Gallery at Starworks! Meet the makers and gain insight into their creative process, influences, and current work through slide presentations and a live Q&A session. Guests are invited to meet featured visiting artists, watch and learn as they present slides and discuss their process and influence, and ask questions about their works.
Artist Talks are free and open to the public of all ages. Starworks is a family friendly and dog friendly environment. Stick around for the followed by Open Mic Night. Treat Yourself – Starworks Cafe & Taproom is open during this event and proudly serves a variety of craft NC beer, delicious wine, coffee & lattes, smoothies, and much more.
Thursday, July 23rd, at 5:30PM: Join featured resident artists Jessika Edgar, Jodi Connelly, and Kate Oggel as they share slide presentations detailing their creative processes, artistic influences, and current works, followed by an interactive Q&A session. The Starworks Cafe & Taproom will be open throughout the event offering craft NC beer, wine, coffee, lattes, and smoothies, with attendees encouraged to stay afterward for live music from Drew Foust in the cafe starting at 7:00PM.
