Join Kathy on Saturday, June 27th from 11:00 until 5:00 to make a stained glass Bee from start to finish! You’ll have the opportunity to experience each step necessary to create stunning stained glass and leave with a finished piece ready to display! We’ve kept the class size small and the project simple so this class is perfect for anyone at any level. You will learn how to:

• Cut your glass using a pattern,
• Grind the pieces for a precise fit,
• Apply foil to each piece,
• Solder your pieces together.

Everything is included, except lunch! Class will break for lunch from 1:00-2:00 then return to finish. You are welcome to use our refrigerator and microwave or you’ll have enough time to pick up lunch from a local eatery. No prior experience needed but is helpful! Whether you’re a first-timer or looking to sharpen your stained glass skills, this class will provide you with the tools and techniques to make something truly beautiful. Kathy has been visiting North Carolina since 1998 and has taken art classes at ARTworks Vass with each visit.  Her first experience was a Paverpol sculpture class followed by a stained-glass class—an experience that sparked her love for glass art.   Since then, Kathy has dedicated herself to learning stained glass techniques.  Now retired and living in North Carolina full time, she plans to continue pursuing her passion for stained glass and sharing her skills with others. Important Information:

• Beginners are welcome.
• Please note: ARTworks Vass is home to friendly gallery/studio cats who may be present during classes and events. 🐾
• Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
• Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
• Only Registered Guests may attend class.
• Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
• Class starts promptly as scheduled.
• Dress to mess or bring an apron.
• You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up.  We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven’t requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery’s discretion.
• At ARTworks Vass, you’re always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
