Join the Sandhills Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the Omicron Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for the annual Bowl for Red event on Saturday, February 21st at 12:00pm at the Sandhills Bowling Center. This event raises awareness about heart disease in women while supporting the AKA CHIPP Program to address childhood hunger in Hoke and Moore Counties. Participants are asked to donate kid-friendly, non-perishable items like canned meats, instant noodles, fruit cups, applesauce, instant oatmeal, and snacks, with Robbins Elementary School serving as this year’s recipient.
